Comments Thread For: Hearn: Can't Base Joshua's Future on a Guy Unreliable Like Fury

Eddie Hearn, promoter for IBF, IBO, WBA, heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (20-0, 20 KOs), will not base his fighter's future on someone as unreliable as Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KOs). Fury, who is overweight and inactive since November 2015 when he defeated Wladimir Klitshcko, has been constantly calling Joshua out on social media.

seeing Joshua become undisputed heavyweight champ really..fury will be lucky to get 35% of the split..deontay wilder is the bigger fight for a.j as it 100% ends in a knockout..only way fury wins is to run and slap punch his way through 12 rounds but wilder's got k.o power, charisma to get under a.j's nerves like fury..that's more entertaining for me

Jousha vs Fury will be like Tyson vs Spinx. The new king, fighting the former king, who is still undefeated, and never lost his belt in the ring.

Look for the fight to go the same as well, with Jousha KOing Fury nearly as quick.

Fury was never that good, had a fairly easy path to a title, and beat Klitschko by cracking Vlads weak psyche. Vlad, though a great champion, was the worst shyt talker, and shyt taker of any champion that I remember.

Plus, Fury already said that Jousha gave him a boxing lesson long ago while spiring.

Wilder and Ortiz are the only real threats to Jousha. Parker will fall in 7 to 9 rounds.

Eddie is correct. It's all in Tyson's hands to prove he's worth the mega payday he requests. Then it's the fight we all want to see.

Fury needs to get down to a reasonable fighting weight to prove he can even be disciplined.

Fury is a brainless psycho. He will never come back. And honestly boxing doesn’t need this drug taking redneck.

Fury doesn't even have his boxing license.

That's all Hearn would talk about. Joshua fighting Fury when Fury was AWOL. Hearn would mention Fury instead of the active Wilder, but now that Fury seems to be training and making his way back, Hearn says they can't base AJs future on Fury? Could it be that Hearn is afraid of AJ fighting Fury now that it could become reality?
