Cherryboy is full of sh.it. everyone knows the fight was offered to both. He just wanted an easier fight, like his run at 147 had been so far, limited.

If Garcia wants to beat Porter, Adelaide Byrd and C.J. Ross would have to be scoring the bout.

I hate people acting like Garcia is scared of anyone, dude has fought Matthysse, Peterson, Thurman, Morales X2(past it, especially the second fight but he was still no slouch), Judah, Guerrero, and Mauricio Herrera who gives everyone a tough night. Oh I forgot, one time he fought a lightweight Rod Salka who has no power, so he must be a scared cherry picker. This is boxing, everyone is a cherry picker if they have the ability to, the only ones who aren't cherry pickers are the guys getting cherry picked.

So what, he wanted an easier fight to bounce back after a loss. He didn't pick some 19-25 journeyman, he chose Rios who is always game, and is fan friendly. It will be a good fight for the fans, action packed, and Rios is a live dog here. If he can stay inside and force Garcia to keep the pace up, Garcia is in for a tough night. This is a pretty good fight for a comeback after a loss.

I remember Broner knocked Porter down in the closing stages of their fight.
I see Garcia winning that fight possibly by knockout from those hooks.

This fight will go the way it's refereed. If you get a ref that will let Porter get away with the WWE tactics he likes to implement, Porter wins. If you get a ref that's strict and won't let Porter hold and headbutt all night long, Garcia wins.

Agree. Hate when people call Garcia a cherry picker. No other active welterweight, other than Pacquiao, has a better resume than Garcia. NONE!

Don't forget that he fought, arguably, the best version of Khan as well and knocked him the EF out. That's probably been one of the most satisfying fights I've witnessed. Danny boy has been in there with some names.
