Many Natives still suffer disproportionately in colonial societies like the US, Canada, Australia, NZ, etc. The fabric of their societies completely destroyed. They don't feel like they belong anywhere; as a result, some refuse to even participate in the white man's ideal. How would you deal with people like that? Would you deny them basic human rights like healthcare? [This applies to segments of the African Americans in the US.]
Remember, the majority of the people (white Europeans) in these societies are also actually the immigrants, who ****d and sniffed out the soul of the original people of these lands, and left them in destitute situations.
So, I deal with the above issues, case by case.
Basic human rights shouldn't be denied for anyone, even illegal immigrants. The colonizers are still occupying these lands illegally.
If you want healthcare for those less fortunate that's fine. So do I. But I shouldn't have to pay for it. Why? Because money spent should benefit the spender OR those the spender chooses.
People are absolutely free to give money to non-profits who will do things for less fortunate. Great. Tax benefits too.
Where it derails is when you try to punish people for not owning healthcare and then diverting that money to people who COULD work but choose not to, or those that CHOOSE to work at companies that don't offer healthcare when so many do because they're flat out lazy.
Hell, JANITORS get basic coverage. But people are too prissy to work tough, dirty jobs even if it means you're getting paid, you're getting benefits, and you're getting some retirement money.
I knew a guy who worked the bus system, got laid off when they downsized, went unemployed for 3 years. I found him a guaranteed job doing the airport shuttle for the same pay - THE SAME EXACT WORK - and he refused because "it's not a bus doe!". Those people, no. I shouldn't have to pay a dime for them.

Tell MeToo, if they want some REAL WORK, to go give Harvey Wienstein a visit and leave Mayweather to his own devices.
