Bob Arum and Top Rank have been doing this for 50 years, Arums first fight he promoted Ali. Hes put on more big fights and made more millionaires than anyone in boxing by far. Bob Arum took Pacquiao who was a nobody and was getting screwed by his promoter and made him one of the richest athletes in the history of any sport. And if you really want to know the truth if it werent for Bob Arum De La Hoya or Floyd wouldnt have been as successful as they were. Bob Arum is the only one who has made ppv stars in the lower weights and he turned Oscar Floyd and Manny into ppv stars, so if it werent for Arum Floyd abd Oscar wouldnt be **** so in reality they owe their entire succes to Arum as does Pacquiao. Dont ever disrespect the Bobfather again

Like remember when Arum saved your hero Mayweathers life by giving James Prince 600k that Mayweather owed him. Floyd your hero literally owes his life to Bob Arum and also his success as I mentioned before.

At this point in Pacquiao's career he doesn't need Arum. He's a fool for giving him a cut of his money.

Instead of doing that he should be out on his own now, maximizing his earnings in the last fights of his career and putting them away for his retirement.

bob arum definitely deserves some credit, but mayweathers biggest purses and highest selling ppv's came without arum. de la hoya biggest purses and biggest ppv's came without arum

just some facts for you bro

Arum has been promoting for over 50 years hes the best in the game, if it werent for Arum Pacquiao wouldnt be the second highest paid boxer in history and also in the top 20 highest paid athletes of all time in any sport. Plus Pacquiao is a Senator, does lots of charity and endorsements, businesses, his basketball team ect. and doesnt have time to promote his fights thats what he pays Arum for. Also Arum is paying him a larger percentage of the profits after his last contract so hes probably keeping 85% of the profits for his fights so its not like Arum is mistreating him. Arum turned Pacquiao Mayweather De La Hoya Cotto Marquez and even guys like Bradley into Ppv stars and paid them boatloads of money why wouldnt you want to have the best promoter in the business doing all the promoting for you? Not everyone is Mayweather

Not really, Arum co promoted Mayweather Pacquiao so it actually came with Arum. The fact is Mayweather would have been as big if not bigger anyway with Arum once he beat De La Hoya. And it all boils down to the fact that Arum turned De La Hoya Mayweather Pacquiao Cotto and many others into Ppv stars. Without Bob Arum who knows if any if them would have fought on Ppv or been as successful. Pacquiao Mayweather and De La Hoya were all propelled to ppv stars by Bob Arum. De La Hoya went on his own and didnt have as much success and make as much money as Pacquiao did so who knows how much bigger De La Hoya abd Mayweather would have been if they stuck with Top Rank. I bet they both would have made a lot more money ifthey stayed

You guys need to understand something. Arum promoted Hagler-Duran, Hagler-Hearns, Hagler-Ray Leonard, Leonard Hearns 2, Holyfield- Foreman, the list goes on and on. Leonard was the first boxing to ever earn 100 million in the ring. Arum was paying these guys ppv type money before there was PPv. Mayweather and De La Hoya would have made a lot more money sticking with Arum.
