Vasyl Lomachenko boxing on the back foot? Any bouts where boxes like this?

I've been going through his amateur bouts to see when he boxed in this manner. The only time he boxed like this in the pros for prolonged periods of time was against Orlando Salido. However, the question remains, how good / well can he box on the back foot? Perhaps some of his amateur bouts may shed some light on this matter.

This is how he may need to box if he moves up in weight and has fights against heavier and bigger sized opponents. He may need to make some adjustments to his current style so the way he boxes is suitable for being effective against bigger sized opponents. He hasn't needed to box in this manner so far to0 often because his current opponents are mostly his own size.

How was he running in that bout? Last time I checked, he held the center of the ring for the most part (except in the first round). How could that be classified as 'running'? Why the lies? Another typical hater I'm guessing?

In all seriousness though, I think he was too much hesitant the first half of the fight against Salido, but he finished that fight very strong and was always coming forward in all his fights since.

No worries! Difficult to determine online whether one is being serious or not.

He doesn't have a huge reach nor does he have great length so that could potentially deter him from going that style. I think he's perfect at mid range because he's so quick not just of hand and foot but also his brain too. He's able to be in positions to avoid the opponent and strike almost all the time.

I am sure he could do well on the back foot but that could become boring because it will essentially be just potshotting from a distance and using timing and speed but probably only 1-2 shots at a time.
