Usyk is the real deal. I'm very high on this guy.

Hopefully, the new fans won't ruin him for people who already like him. A lot of this is happening these days.
Anyways, I'll remain a fan, even if he loses in the future. I wanna see him move to heavyweight after this and clean house there too.

Usyk vs. Gassiev in the final with Usyk winning. Usyk is one of the best fighters in the World pound for pound and will get the chance to prove it here. One fight at a time but beating the undefeated Glowacki in Poland for the WBO, the still serviceable Huck in Germany in dominating performances was impressive. If he beats the undefeated Briedis for the WBC and unifies the division in May he could really have a legit claim to being #1 pound for pound strictly on resume especially if he wins in similar fashion he keeps winning.
Unfortunately the usual cretins will start to hate him soon and try and tarnish him here on a daily basis once they hear of him.

However, if Usyk wins the cruiser weight tournament, he becomes the undisputed number one pound for pound and will already be difficult enough to dethrone from that position. And if he moves up to heavyweight and has decent success and beats the best opponents there, whilst winning a title or two. Then I don't think any other boxer at that point could dethrone him without accomplishing an extraordinary feat themselves.
