Other than Lewis coming over confident and under prepared and Wilder landing a hail Mary of a right hand I can't see how Wilder wins.
In a hypothetical match up you compare two fighters at their very best, not one at their best and the other at their very worst.
Lewis at his best likely KO's Wilder inside 2 rounds. He took the fight to taller heavyweights and with a 20-30lbs weight advantage he would manhandle and rag doll Wilder on the inside. Much like the Grant fight he'd over power Wilder without much of a struggle.Comment

Wilder is packing glass and lacking fundamentals. Briggs would KO him, let alone Lewis.Comment

This poll should tell you who 92% of posters think would win that fight. Wilder is OK and he hits very hard but I think Lewis is equal or better than Wilder in every aspect of boxing. Lewis hit just as hard as Wilder with much better punching form, timing and accuracy. Lewis was KOed twice when he got careless but I still think he had a better chin than Wilder. He also had a much better defense than Wilder. He was just as big and fast as Wilder with equal stamina. Lewis avenged both his only defeats by KO. He defeated far better opponents than Wilder has ever fought. Lewis by KO in my opinion.Comment

Wilder relies on range and hoping OR knowing an opponent has limited abilities coming forward . Lewis would not only take Wilders jab away but put him in panic mode after mid rnds IF the fight is still going bc he would be behind in the fight assuming Lewis has Steward .
If they fought 3 times Lewis probably gets 2 knock outs and 1 UD .
Lewis could get rocked ,its happened before even with Grant whos bofdy type is similar to Wilder but even should this happen i cant see Lewis over looking a 6'7 k.o guy with vlose too 100% K.O record !
