I'm not a fan of ducking. But things could be very different if Kell Brook had not fought Gennady Golovkin in a size mismatch. He should have instead vacated his IBF Welterweight title and started again at Super Welterweight. I think he's damaged goods now after fighting GGG. Errol Spence Jr. just put the finishing touches on. Brook will never be the same again.

Hell no, he would've got zero respect had he tucked tail and ran from his first real mando. Fans respect him for facing his boogey man. No he has moved up to 154 with honor. Ggg yes, that he didnt need

Why is everybody writing off Brook. Far as I can make out he had weak orbital bones. The one Golobkin caved in held up in the Spence fight but the second one went. If that can be fixed like the first one and the yboth hold up then he should be able to scrap ok at 154.

His fight against Spence went on longer and was probably more punishing that the one against GGG. But its not like he has taken several beatings. One and a half beatings? I'd just say avoid Charlo who is looking like a beast these days. There should be a good money fight against Liam Smith and Khan if he can ever get his act together. I don't see Canelo staying at 160 - if he beats Golovkin he loses to Jermall so a cw against Brook could work there as well.

Kind words by Spence very classy, Brook really shouldn't have fought GGG that was career suicide. I really hope he rebounds strong at 154 and picks up a few wins before going for a strap though. Unless it's Ali.

Spence could have bragged about his win instead he took the high road.

Brook is a real fighter. He won his title vs porter, a guy nobody likes to fight. He stepped up to fight ggg when most of y'all favorite fighters were straight up running from him. Then everyone thought he was just gonna hand over his title to Spence when he was named mandatory but instead he faced him and gave him hell. He may get a bad wrap for "quitting" but he literally fought his a$$ off in both fights until his face broke.

Brook has got a lot of respect from me and so many others for taking on GGG then Spence. Both guys hit like light heavys. Props to him, and best wishes to him in his quest for yet another title.

I was one that thought he would duck Spence, but he proved me wrong.

Yea I wish more fighters had Brook's desire to be GREAT.Im not sure how he will come back but I know ill be rooting for him.True fighter!!
