Comments Thread For: Joshua-Parker: Principality Stadium in Cardiff Confirmed Site

Two London tabloids reported Monday that Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, has been confirmed as the site for the Anthony Joshua-Joseph Parker fight. The Daily Mail and The Sun stated that their heavyweight title unification fight March 31 will take place at that Welsh rugby and soccer stadium. Joshua's last fight, a 10th-round stoppage of Cameroon's Carlos Takam on October 28, drew a capacity crowd of roughly 78,000 to Principality Stadium.

The article says that the fight will be announced on Thursday with Joseph Parker attending.
His promoter arrived in the UK today.

I think there is a good chance the fight will be announced on Thursday.
I don't think Parker's promoter would fly all the way from New Zealand to the UK if the fight was not happening.

I see AJ is travelling from the Saxon city Lunden, to unify the titles in the Glywysing city of Caerdyf.

About the Joshua-Parker fight...it has basically been a lock since two weeks ago all that's left is the press conference to announce the fight.

Either way, I'm looking forward to this
