Comments Thread For: Truax: No Issue With Returning To UK To Beat Up DeGale Again!

In what many saw as the biggest upset of 2017, massive underdog Caleb Truax (29-3-2, 18 KOs) traveled to London and shocked Olympic gold medal winner James DeGale (23-2-1, 14 KOs) to capture the IBF super middleweight title. Truax badly hurt DeGale in the fifth round and punished him during the contest.

It’s pretty much the only way for DeGale to get his credibility back. If he can turn in a decent performance and beat him in the rematch convincingly, at least he can argue it was a slip up due to inactivity/rushing back after injury and surgery.

A decent win and he’s pretty much back where he was.

He obviously has been offered a massive amount of money to do so, i dont blame him and he deserves it.

Why not? More money and a greater chance to win even more!

Degale is done, simple jabs from Truax was already bruising up Degale's face and in the earlier rounds he wasn't landing as much as the mid rounds and late!

All Degale needed to do was circle away from Truax right hand and throw a left hook when Truax throw that overhand right!

          Badou Jack ruined him!

That night Degale lost much more than his IBF belt. There has been not much word from Degale camp. It is stunning how a top rated boxer become washed up/shot in just 7 months.
