They are a jome. They keep stalking Canelo and he keeps telling them to F-off.
He started Trial on May 23rd, 2017
The purse bid they demanded was set for May 24th the very next day.
Why would Oscar and Canelo sign for a fight when they were getting sued??? Any winning could he split with Canelos old promotor?? And on top of that they were suing for full right to be his promotor again.
They also were excited to announce GGG as the new Champion.
Mark my words Canelo will never accept a WBC belt again. Hell put itbwhere it belongs in the dump.Comment

saw the sulecki fight in chicago from the 2nd row. he was at 160 then, but i think hell fit better at 154 like hes been doin. hes good. hard to say how good, but hes been fighting a while and doin real good so im really itchin to see him challenge a name fighter. never gave any thought to seein him in the ring with charlo, so...yea thatll do.Last edited by ceylon mooney; 01-08-2018, 08:07 AM.Comment

Wouldnt be surprised if Vanes passes on this one. Tough fight, and the payoff is fighting Charlo again? Not very attractive unless he really needs the cash.
If I were Vanes I'd be calling Lemeiux or Rosado out at 160... much better opportunities.Comment

Vanes hasn't had a fight in goin on 2 years. Ever since bad mouthing Haymon. He takes it because he can't get anything elseComment

After coming up short in three world title fights, Vanes seemed to think that he was somehow entitled to a fourth title shot. Haymon let him out of his deal, he willfully signed with Don King, and after 20 months on the shelf (likely to be a full two years by the time the fight actually happens), he's finally got a final eliminator for another shot at a world title, against a young hungry fighter who's been kept active and seems to just now be peaking on form (and even were he to somehow win, the mandatory likely isn't even due for another year and the unofficial unification tournament at 154 is likely being had with the WBC's blessing).
Vanes went for what he wanted, so he's now got to live with his decision.Comment

In what world is the WBO better than the WBC? Sulaiman has his shenanigans, but let's not be foolish here. Pacquiao gets left for dead by Marquez, yet still fights for the WBO belt next?
And let's not act like it's not, to be extremely generous, odd that Top Rank/Warren seem to always be rated well enough to fight non-en****** for world titles.Comment

Bruh, Don King owns the WBC. IDK how his fighters keep getting continuous mandatory slots even after losses or middling wins.Comment
