I think we all know that Easter is B level lol. Sort of like Oscar Valdez, good and entertaining fighters that will give the top guys good fights but will likely never beat them or be elite unless they undergo serious improvements.
When has Easter suddenly become this world beater ?

Yea, and "various channels" said Pac beat Mayweather and on and on...Very weird response... who hurt you buddy? I have heard various big channels say that Mikey is ducking Easter Jr and spinning the narrative that he is this boogieman of the division no one wants to fight. Maybe you just dont follow the boxing talk like i do, but i noticed this recently. There's no need to get hostile
Bump the threads where people are talking about this on NSB.
You guys make these threads to get a bunch of people to agree with you when there's no one arguing with you in the first place.
I'm one of the only Easter fans on here and even I have never said anyone is ducking him or that he's a world beater. GTFO...

No one is saying that. But it would be nice to see if he is which can only happen if he is able to fight guys like Mikey. Which is why he wants that fight.I like Robert Easter Jr, but what is up with this narrative lately that he is some kind of World beater that everyone is ducking ??
In his 2 biggest fights, Commey and Shafikov, he didn't dominate them... he struggled with them. the fights could have went either way really, very close fights.
He's a solid fighter but how is he considered all of a sudden this boogieman that Mikey is ducking and everyone in the division is scared to face etc ? It's very strange to meComment

^I've asked that same thing many times. He's constantly doing it and uses abbreviations or antiquated racist phrases to try to get away with it.
He contributes no boxing knowledge or general good to the forum. He should be booted the *** out.Last edited by Redd Foxx; 01-07-2018, 03:49 PM.Comment

I think you're wrong on Valdez. Kid can become elite imo.Comment

Straight from the horse's mouth,
Mikey Garcia:
"Lipinets presents a size advantage as far as weight, but Easter presents height and reach advantages," said Garcia, who's five inches shorter than the 5-feet-11 Easter. "That could make for a very difficult fight. He could use his height and reach advantage over me and make things more complicated. So those are the challenges."
A lightweight title unification fight against Robert Easter was among the options Mikey Garcia seriously considered before finalizing a shot at IBF junior welterweight champion Sergey Lipinets earlier this month. Ultimately, though, neither Garcia nor Easter would’ve been paid enough to satisfy either fighter for that bout between undefeated lightweight champions. Instead, Easter (20-0, 14 KOs) will defend his IBF 135-pound championship against Javier Fortuna (33-1-1, 23 KOs) on January 20, three weeks before Garcia (37-0, 30 KOs) challenges Lipinets (13-0, 10 KOs) on February 10 in San Antonio.
Easter vs Garcia certainly is the more marketable fight precisely because of the height difference.
So blame Garcia for not wanting any piece of Easter.
Regardless of what fans think.Comment

what i wanna know is, why do people hype his win over commey? i had never heard of easter or commey before that fight, the only other name on commey's record that i know is shafikov and he lost that fight.
pumped for that fortuna fight though.Comment
