Yeah Booth is real high on this kid and I can see why. Not a huge fan of Booth as he comes across rather smarmy and sometimes arrogant, but credit where it’s due, he’s an excellent trainer. I’d have no problem seeing Kelly step up ASAP. I think he’d already comfortably deal with the majority of guys at British level like Corcoran, Singleton, Thain, Ekundayo, O’Donnell etc.

Ryan Burnett won't have his straps long if Innoue steps up to bantamweight. That'll be another two belts gone if they cross paths.

All your fighters are getting beat, soon as you put AJ in with Wilder or even maybe Fury, kiss your Diva good bye!!!

Bellew didn't Lose his title in the ring he gave it up to move to heavyweight, and became Champion Emeritus meaning he will get first crack at his old WBC Cruiserweight belt if he decides to move back down.

Totally agree and the next crop look much better than the last. I have a hunch that Dubois will ultimately be AJ's toughest test when they eventually meet in a few years

Kelly can drop a weight division apparently. I hope he holds up as he steps up he could be a real asset to boxing.

Agreed on the other two, their ok but not winning world titles.

This article was about British boxers having belts, so if AJ loses to Fury its net result is zero, so not really relevant.

But yeah Wilder, he's going to be legendary, the legend will be that there was once a world champion that somehow managed to retain a world title for years on end without actually fighting a single decent fighter, young kids will be in awe of his ability to evade any kind of real challenge in the ring in order to preserve the facade he was actually the best in the world, because he had a waist band that said so.

The slimy cùnt Hearn is obviously aware that the AJ hype train is about to come to an end one way or another very soon just like the Kell The Bum Slayer Brooks came to a complete end and it won't be long before he runs out of decent boxers. With the exception of Josh Kelly, who does he have that will possibly dominate the sport in the future? Then you look over at Warrens stable with BoxNation, the McGuigans, the independent self promoters working with networks like ITV, Haye and Schaeffer...Hearn is going to end up as the next Kelly Maloney.

Most of the best boxers and prospects in Britain are NOT with Hearn.

I wouldn't be betting on Hearn's demise just yet, he's part of the sporting establishment in the UK and at the top of the tree in terms of cashflow. AJ is doing crazy numbers, Hearn would certainly have a decent war chest to be building his roster with in the future and it'd be $10s of millions if not more.

The thing to keep in mind is that he can afford not to have to back upcoming boxers in the very early career now, because he can buy them once they have fans and traction.

Also, boxing management has changed in recent times, none of the big promoters manage long lists of names anymore, they simply back the biggest events on one and two fight deals, because they have learn't over time that the <$1m dollar fights are high risk for little reward and the blockbuster match ups are where all the the dollars. The top promoters are the only ones able to carry the funding/contacts/experience needed for the biggest events.
