Since JACOBS and NELO Sparked GOLOVKIN, What Would FROCH Have Done?

GGG is indeed PFP number 1 by ring and until very recently including the last time I checked ESPN had GGG number 1. GGG was dropped to number two best pfp after your hated Loma became number 1 by beating and quitting your beloved Rigo. I was off by one place and a month on GGG being currently ESPN number 1. My mistake. GGG is number 2 by ESPN. According to you that is the lie of the century. Froch never had a fight in his whole career at any weight but 168. He never fought an ounce over 168 and his last fight was defending his 168 pound title. GGG never fought at any weight but 160 his whole career. So when GGG challenged him to a fight at 168 and Froch said no we must fight at 172 it's Froch doing the running. I checked all Ring pfp rankings and in no year was Froch ever on their Pound for pound top 10. It looks like the pathetic liar is YOU.Comment

I was on record from day one saying this was a whole lot of talk. Yes Gennady looked excellent against C level fighters, but it's different when you're up against A and B level talent.
Against Jacobs his power was still there (hence the KD), but Jacobs was still able to do a lot of things and - arguably - earned a draw in that fight. And Jacobs is a B level MW!
Against Canelo - a solid B+ and maybe A- fighter - his power AND ENTIRE OFFENSE was completely nullified by upper body movement, lateral movement, parrying, blocks, and counters.
Gennady was never the monster they made him out to be and he would've lost to guys like Floyd. Yes, little Floyd would've danced around MarGGGarito and clinched and pot-shotted. There's just no way he wouldn't have after seeing how Canelo had him so confused.
I still watch Gennady fight because he has an entertaining style, but he's far from the monster some people made (and somehow still try to make?) him out to be. He's also a FRINGE Top 10 PFP fighter, yet some media members rank him #1. Strangest thing I've seen since the rise of "pacman" about a decade ago
Lomachenko, meanwhile, is the. real. deal. Sad he's not getting the hype MarGGGarito gotComment

GGG is a considerably larger fighter than Ca$hnelo so he was able to absorb punishment a whole lot better.
Ca$hnelo dominated him and took very little punches himself, but he was not able to deter a motivated MarGGGarito.
Don't think because MarGGGarito didn't get hurt he wasn't feeling those punches. Trust me, he was. He's just a die on the shield kind of fighter - which is dopeComment

Lemieux, Stevens, Jacobs, Monroe, Murray all got knocked down early, got back up and proceeded to go rounds while putting leather on ggg's face.
ggg has almost no chance to win, a knock down will merely wake Froch up. He hasn't KO'd someone with a single punch since Rubio, all his 1 punch KO's disappeared when he stepped up in competition.Comment
