    Golovkin is finished

Since he got outboxed by Brook, Jacobs and Canelo, it suddenly seems like everyone is lining up to fight Golovkin. He always complained that nobody wanted to fight him... Well, here you have it. Careful what you wish for. Even Saunders is ready. While I gotta admit, Saunders has been a coward for some time, he IS more skilled than Brook, Jacobs and Canelo. I seriously think Saunders beats Golovkin.

How will Golovkin survive now, when he is merely seen a great name for someone to add to their resume? He's not even feared like an invincible force of nature anymore... Probably had something to do with the fact that a welterweight uppercutted him into jellylegs mode. Golovkin was never the same after the Brook fight, it clearly took something out of him. He looked so hesitant to attack in the Jacobs and Canelo fights, as if he expects that fearsome uppercut to strike again...

How do you see Golovkin doing from now on?

Guys who bring the money like triple G will always have guys wanting to fight them, so there is no change there.
It's about timing of a fight. Saunders would not have wanted GGG a year or two ago as he needed to pad his bank account first. Sometimes called "letting a fight marinate" and from the challenger's point of view sometimes called "cashing out".

He's not finished at all. Your kind of Mayweather induced thinking is what hurts boxing. Back in the day guys could have a loss and nobody thought too much of it. Ask Hagler, Hearns, Leonard, Duran.

Now you wanna write a guy off cos he took a good punch, not even a L.

C'mon man, Brook, Jacobs etc are great fighters, there is zero shame in taking them on and working through a small bit of adversity.

That said, Saunders looks like he is starting to take things seriously, (he never did before), a very skilled defensive fighter with great feet and when you add hard work and conditioning to great talent you get what we saw Vs Lemieux.

But GGG cuts the ring off better than Lemieux, would be an interesting stylistic match.

He knocked Brook out and broke his face. He beat Jacobs in Jacob's back yard on all three judge's cards and knocked Jacobs down. Most viewers thought he beat Canelo. In the Brook, Jacob and Canelo fights GGG was the attacker while his opponent was the one going backward most of the fight, If he supposedly feared an uppercut they must have feared some punch of his because he never ran or back peddled and they all did. I don't think anybody can or will beat him in 2018. He isn't as good as when he was 30 and no boxer is. He is still the best middleweight in the world and still the champion. You could always put your money where your mouth is and bet against GGG. You will get good odds because he will always be the betting favorite and his opponents will always be the underdog.

BJS is going to box his head off if GGG takes that fight next.

BJS is already back in training keeping busy till he gets a fight for summer and if it's GGG then BJS will win no doubt. He looks faster on his feet and with his hands than most Welters nevermind a 160 pounder.

Keep it simple, Trella scored for Lil'G beating Jacobs, and Loeffler, thinking Trella would favor Lil'G, scored it a DRAW. Moretti close for Lil'G, and Byrd just liked Canelo more with power punches. She even told the public how she scores, that punchrate stats can be overshadowed if the other has more meaningful blows, which is what Eric Morales said, Nelo won because he landed the better punches. Thouhh I thought the DRAW was justified.
Lil'G fans accept the Kazakh's performance as good...
Boxing fans get soft when they need to justify online polls when industry sources and boxing purist websites overrule casual viewers.
