Tony Bellew (29-2-1, 19 KOs) is looking to make his mark in the heavyweight division. After reaching his championship dream by capturing the WBC cruiserweight title in 2016, Bellew moved up to heavyweight in 2017 for a grudge match with David Haye in March.

Tony's really grown on me in recent years for an overachiever with a big mouth. Dudes trashtalk is comedy gold and he gives a good insightful interview when the mood's on him too. Still anything close to a near prime Haye (which we'll never see again) would have beat the hell outta Tony... Fury? On his first fight back? Honestly have to give the Scouse a fighting chance since there's just no way of knowing how Fury will look after that kind of lay-off. Bellew's neither fast nor particularly busy, but there's still a good chance he could simply outwork the bigger man.

The most disappointing part of the Haye fight being delayed is having an extra few months of Bellend running his mouth thinking he's a real heavyweight with a legitimate heavyweight victory. An absolute tosser

          Couldn’t agree more

Was never a fan but you can’t drny he has a big big heart

I wouldn’t right him off against fury either , can remember Cunningham running rings around a fully fit fury until the ko

Hopefully he does the double over haye first

Love him or loathe him, you have to admit he has balls. He's also better than most people think.

Never been a fan of Haye but now he's on two legs it's time to smash this fat Bellend in the mouth and reestablish natural order

Why doesn't Bellew have a keep busy fight like was being talked about?

He was in camp and good to go for a December clash with Haye. He should've taken a low risk fight between then and Jan. Surprising how cool he's been with being delayed 6 months.

Even AJ just agreed a unification fight a few months out, 2 months before Bellew fights. He shouldn't be so patient with Haye, he's losing time money and fight opportunities.

Pre flakeout Fury would smash up Bellew, too big and strong , Bellend knows this, he's just hoping to cash in on the big comeback fight against big manboobs but I don't think Fury will ever step inside a professional ring for a meaningful fight again.
