People acting like this is not a great unification fight between 2 undefeated Heavyweight champions smh...

Next to the Wilder fight, this is the best fight that can take place at heavyweight

If Parker is a mismatch the heavyweight division is finished now , there aren't a lot of other fights I suggest you give up watching.

I think Hughie will make most heavyweights look bad/slow and yes he is a bad version of his cousin. More worrying for Parker was that match with his sparring partner before Hugie... Parker hasn't looked good for a while now but not as bad as Ortiz he really seems to have gone of the boil last three fights.

Parker won't stand and trade with Joshua. Parker no longer works on the inside, he seems to prefer to clinch when in that range. Joshua would overwhelm him in close, too big, too powerful, too much.

I think Joshua's best plan is to be the aggressor, Parker doesn't counter punch, so if pushed back it will minimise his ability to mount any kind of offence. The danger for Joshua is if he just stands in front of Parker doing nothing, that will allow Parker to set and fire his blistering combo's. So Joshua needs to either be forcing Parker back or moving himself to prevent Parker setting.

Parker has looked average since he started fighting decent fighters.

I think AJ v Parker is interesting though. Joshua might have Wlad's name on his resume, but it was Wlad's name, not the great fighter he once was. Apart from that, their level of competition has been fairly similar for the most part.

That's not to discredit AJ's win over Wlad, but he was 41 and inactive. Wlad only looked good because AJ's style was a good style for him but really Wlad was pretty a shot fighter by that point, even if people don't wanna admit it.

If they say you're only as good as your last fight, then neither AJ or Parker looked that great v Takam and Hughie respectively... but both got the win anyway.

The difference for me is Joshua dealt with fighters on the level of Breazeale fairly comfortably...i wouldn't be confident that Parker does it with such ease.

Parker doesn't have knockout power and he can't out point Joshua so what is his game plan really?

It's not like AJ has a granite chin. It's been shown that he can be hurt. I don't think Dillian Whyte has great power but he had him on ***** street with the right shot.

A better and more composed finisher than Whyte or a less cautious fighter than Wlad might not let have Joshua see the end of the round.

I agree somewhat though. I think Parker's best chance is to try to be durable but without taking too much punishment while trying to make AJ work more than he wants. If he can get AJ tired, then who knows.

I think Joshua chin is pretty decent tbh, team Parker uses that argument just to mess with him, mind games hoping he won't be 100% focused fight night.

Not saying he has a biscuit chin but there's no reason Parker couldn't stun him if he caught him right.

Whyte caught AJ with a counter punch and he was coming in to finish him. Now while Parker probably hits as hard as Whyte he doesn't counter punch like Whyte does.

Also Joshua is far more cautious ever since being rocked by Whyte. From the opening bell in that fight he was looking for the KO. I don't think Joshua will make it as easy for him as he did for Whyte to catch him.

Joshua took a huge right hand from Wlad and got up. I don't think Parker has that kind of power to take Joshua out with one shot. He'll need to break AJ down and wear him down like you say.
