Comments Thread For: Hearn: If Joshua and Parker Trade Up - I Pick My Guy All Day

Eddie Hearn, promoter for IBF, IBO, WBA heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (20-0, 20 KOs), sees a lot of danger in the likely showdown with WBO champion Joseph Parker (24-0, 18 KOs). The fight is being lined up for March 31, potentially at Principality in Cardiff, Wales.

I also feel Joshua beats parker in any type of fight but no need to slug it out when you have the physical advantages..stay behind your jab..parker will open up then you pounce and knock him out..Parker's no slouch though..Joshua knows better than to underestimate him..he's a 'humble' world champ..he won't

I think even iron jaw Higgins wouldn't bet on his man in a slug fest

Parker is gonna have to try and drag it into the later rounds and hope Joshua gasses

He will be so far behind on points he will leave himself open for a bomb

people tend to forget..Joshua fought takam in his own game..inside..and was winning all the rounds..Joshua didn't fight on the outside..still beat him handily..he's learning to adapt and not just base his game on a jab and right hand..wilder take note

Parkers not really a huge puncher, he's like Pulev level but short arms, his only chance is speed and movement like before he got bulky and flat

Joshua is no dummy but Parker's only chance is to have a firefighter and hope his combos discombobulate

I predict a UD from AJ,the ref won't be paid to stop it early this time. Parker has ZERO chance of knocking AJ down/out whatsoever so hes a straight ****** if he believes that bs. Besides Ruiz should be the one fighting anyways as hes the RIGHTFUL wbo champ...

Hughie Fury who fights a like a bad version of his cousin Tyson made Parker look one paced .If AJ. users his reach and jab to set up Parker as I expect then Parker will be out of there quick.......mismatch Eddie and you know it!

I see late stoppage win by AJ.
It will take a miracle for Parker to knock out AJ.
Parker and his team have focused on Joshua's chin instead of AJ punching power and reach.

AJ can use his height and speed to his advantage here, no need to go for the spectacular unless it presents itself
