    Deontay Wilder vs. Carlos Takam.

Takam has a granite chin, and he has a high workrate. Could Wilder beat him?

    On two weeks notice? Probably.

Wilder wouldn't fight anyone remotley as good as Takam with just 2 weeks preperation . Im not sure i would even favor Wilder then if Takam was preparing for him while Wilder got the 2 week heads up.

Wilder in all likely hood decisions Takam in a normal training camp.

Takam doesn't have a higher work rate. He threw around 450 punches vs Parker and Joshua while Wilder threw well over 600 when he went 12 with Stiverne.

I think Takam would be competitive but he doesn't have the power and work rate to beat Wilder. But Takam is pretty durable he should last the distance. Wilder wins a UD, 8 rounds to 4.

Taken would be Wilder’s best win but he’s diminished since losses to Povetkin followed by being outworked by Parker and having the shiz beaten out of him by Joshua, Takam will likely never recover from that beating and will come across like Chisora did after he went 12 with a one one armed Vitali Klitschko, that guy was the shell of Chisora thereafter as Takam will after the Joshua hiding.

For me Wilder’s best wins are Stivers and the thoroughly underrated Duhaupas whom really should be included in the top ten rankings ahead of trash like Breazeale and Whyte.

I think Wilder would KO him without much trouble. I was surprised AJ didn't beat him quicker and easier than he did. He doesn't seem that good to me. The windmill of doom would land his long fast hard punches and get him out of there within 6 rounds in my opinion. He has neither the speed or the power to give Wilder much trouble. Wilder seems to have improved since his fight with Molina in which he didn't look so good.

Ain't you heard? Wilder is half hybrid.

I like Takam, he's a tough durable guy with good fundamentals, but he's quite outmatched here based on styles and sheer physical dimensions. Takam in my opinion is an upgraded version of Stiverne.

Wilder could just box him from the outside and move round the ring using his quick feet, decent jab until he can land that right hand. Takam's feet aren't particularly quick, and Wilder is quicker than Joshua, so I see this being more one-sided than the AJ-Takam fight.
