  • Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury Dares Joshua: I'll Face You in My First Fight Back!

Last month, IBF, IBO, WBA heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua said he was ready to "rock and roll" with Tyson Fury whenever the former champion wants to get in the ring with him. Fury has not fought since taking four belts from Wladimir Klitschko in September 2015, but, with his well-publicised problems with UK Anti-Doping now behind him, the 29-year-old has returned to training.

Fury looking for that excuse once he loses !

As well as looking for that cash out fight bc he WONT stay committed to be a full time athlete and stay in shape .

Yes great ambassador for boxing !

Of course Joshuas detractors have already accused Hearn for rushing Tyson to fight in 2018 when ITS Fury who wanted to fight right away !

That seems like a bad idea, but I think he's just talking trying to get some headlines too so its whatever.

I'd like to see him get in a fight or two with this new trainer vs progressively better guys. That David Price fight actually makes for a great get the rust off opponent. Work out the kinks with a couple W's & then lets talk Joshua vs Fury.

Gotta add I don't really love him leaving Peter Fury. That seemed like a winning team, but if this one works too fair enough. I often think trainers are overhyped in a fighters success.

If AJ/Fury gets made in 2018, Wilder is ****ed. A fight with Fury will be a mega-event and distance AJ even further from the pack, especially after he beats Fury's ass. Wilder will be lucky to demand 20% after that.

He's got some balls but I don't see any positives to this. Get some seasoning and then get in the ring with Joshua at the end of next year. Whether Joshua beats Wilder or not this fight is worth beacoup bucks.

Thought he already said he wouldn't face him in his first fight back. Like, a couple weeks ago...
Just cutting to the real talk, we ALL know Fury wouldn't face him in the 1st back. This is more Fury noise.

So Tyson says one day he will not be rushed into big fights until he's ready. The following day he says he will go straight into a Joshua fight .It's like listening to Mir Khan .The bloke still has screws loose, the board really should take note.
