Comments Thread For: Saunders: I'd Love To Fight O'Sullivan Again - But He Won't Win

WBO middleweight world champion Billy Joe Saunders has no problem with providing a rematch to Gary 'Spike' O'Sullivan. They fought each other back in 2013 at London's Wembley Arena - with Saunders dominating the action over twelve rounds of action. O'Sullivan had claimed that a burst ear drum early in the fight, and personal problems during training camp, affected him greatly in the fight.

Since the top guys are ducking him - why not. I'd rather see him school Andrade though.

I like O'Sulivan but I'm not really interested in a rematch. I guess the big two and Jacobs aren't an option anyone else ?
        Please not Khan ..

Nobody wants to see this rematch. Why? So he can give his boy another pay day? I mean, people in boxing have always known Billy Ho can scrap. So now that we've seen this on a larger scale the d*ck riders need to tap the breaks on how he cleans out 60. There is plenty of good work at 60 other than Spike O'Sullivan:
          1. Charlo
          2. Derevyanchenko
          3, Andrade
          4. Centeno
          etc.
However, let's not forget that Billy Ho is a ho, and the ho way is to not take a chance getting beat before he can sell his belt, but instead take on the easiest possible challenges until he gets the highest bidder. Also, for those thinking Lemieux was a challenge, please. Only those unfamiliar with both fighters had Lemieux winning going in to the fight. My prediction, a ho will be a ho, so get ready for the Gary O'Sullivan rematch. SMH

Andrade and Jacobs both called out Saunders. Spike should be fighting Rosado or something.

I like Spike but he would lose to BJS 100 times out of 100. Completely different levels, no need for this rematch.

I understand they're quite friendly though. Maybe BJS wants to give him a payday.

Doubt it happens anyway unless Spike got himself into a mandatory position.

Jacobs is calling out Saunders. Saunders in turn is talking about Khan, O'Sullivan and Canelo/Golovkin, who are widely expected to rematch each other.

He's coming off a good victory over Lemieux, and there are many other legit challenges for him. Charlo, Jacobs, Derevyanchenko, Murata or even overrated Andrade are good fights for BJS to establish himself.

Good fight for Saunders in the interim waiting for the GGG Canelo rematch. No need to take any big risks right now.
