Look at the people who aren't top-10 ranked, some fight 6 or 7 times a year.

Hell, look at Boxingscene's "Boxing schedule". Look at the trash fights for the first 3 months this year. Friggin Garcia-Rios is the best fight so far, that's pretty friggin sad.

You're not thinking this through. When you're at the top levels fighting more than 2x/year is very irregular. You're fighting better opposition and by the time you get there you're out of that stage of your career.

Fighting several x/year is for prospects and up-and-comers.
