Comments Thread For: Canelo's Manager Predicts 2018 Will Be His Fighter's Best Year

Jose 'Chepo' Reynoso, manager for Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (49-1-2, 34 KOs), believes 2018 will be the best year to date for his fighter's career. In 2017, Canelo started off the action with a dominating one-sided unanimous decision win over longtime Mexican rival Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Of course 2018 is going to be the best year of Canelos career! when Saul owns GGG and Billy Jean he has to be #1. on the P4P, no questions or debating about it.

I don't think so if Nelo will fight either Charlo or BJS or Jacobs after the GGG tiebreaker in May. These 3 big MWs will give Nelo big problems. If he loses to GGG in May then there goes his big 2018.

GGG in May and then Saunders in Sept. If he wins both easily fighter of the year.

Most likely Saunders with a slight chance Murata. These other guys need to step up and fight each other. Theres a log jam at MW with all them just wanting GGG and Canelo.

I dont know why Charlo and Jacobs arent fighting instead of Charlo and Centeno???

Andrade and Sergiy should be fighting as well.

They look like bums on the side of the street begging for change from GGG and Canelo. I give Sergiy a pass because hes called out Andrade but Andrade went silent

I thought 2017 was supposed to be his best year when he was supposed to knock out GGG?

Would be nice if these cucks could fight more than twice a year. How does someone like Canelo get 40 wins by the age of 23, now he's fighting twice a year?
Granted he was fighting tomato cans, but that would be 6 or 7 fights a year if he "turned pro" at 16.
