    Conor ws knocked out by a over the hill, older, smaller fighter in a fight that should have never been sanctioned or have been anything other than an exhibition contest.We need the meatheads out of the sport this is not MMA or football.If Conor wants to box let him find his own weight and work himself up through the rankings .He's not that ****** is he!

      Well, McGregor was never knocked down, and Mayweather fought like crap, but we bought into it and watched it, so it is what it is. Boxing is looking for excitement, the next 'Sugar' Ray Leonard or Hearns, but there are none as of now.

        When I rewatched the fight, I thought McGregor clearly won 1-3 and maybe got round 8 which is debatable. On rewatch, I gave Floyd round 8. Floyd definitely won round 4.

            let's just forget this. This was a publicity/entertainment thing, nothing more.

            Nothing was proven that night, except for the absolute obvious which is, if you don't train an specific sport you're not gonna be good at it.
            Do you think Kobe Bryant would be able to win a tennis match against Federer just because he's a legendary player?? No. Because those are two different sports.

            boxing != mma. the end.

              Try a billion dollars and see if that gets Floyd in there.

                McGregor had a good run and made BIG MONEY, he probably cant make weight to defend his MMA belt. Im sure he's eating very well and traveling. He's gonna be fighting someone who's been training and working, sweating, practicing his trade. Connor can make a lot of money for the comeback to MMA fight, he can challege St Pierre, another big money MMA fight, and the 3rd one with Diaz. He is nothing more than a name from this point forward.

                    McGasCan needs to move on, he bit off more than he can chew and was humbled. He needs to focus on his UFC career and focus on not letting the loss ruin your career.

                      kinda hard to do that when you just made over $100 mil and barely took any damage. his division in the ufc is stacked right now. he's not gonna return to fight a top contender for a small purse and possibly take a beating in the process.
