What's standard defines overrated in boxing terms???

It gets thrown around in every sport, this board is literally filled with it.

It's common with foreign fighters. " they havn't fought anyone" I mean, they might be slightly over sold but if you beat champs from major regions of the world you have to have some skill

Maybe people get confused with over marketed and overrated?

What makes a fighter overrated? If the standard is boxingscene's alts opinion then it's flawed

Someone who has fought D and C fighters all their career and is hyped out of this world. Loses, wins a disputed decision, or draws, when they step up to B levelers. That's my definition.

        Golovkin fits this definition perfectly.

Overrated on this board for the most part simply means that that person is a rival of a board member's favourite fighter.

Realistically i'd probably say it applies to tin can crushers.

You just hate on GGG don’t you? If you say he lost/drawn and controversially won overcB levels, then who would you rank as being A level at MW?

Usyk? Crawford and Loma? I'm big on skills. None of that robotic stuff.

At middle: Saunders is the most skilled.

People saying fighters are the best in sport or ATG's when they have beaten nobody to warrant it.

****** people think if a fighter is good they can't be overrated. Yes they can.

So GGG is B minus level and Saunders is A level?

Nope. Golovkin is a solid B. Saunders and Canelo B+.
