MMA has its ebbs and flows (something Boxing can relate to).

BTW, the 'Kids Class' is actually a staple of every MMA gym.

Wasn't this clown saying when Delahoya retires boxings dead than he said when Mayweather and Pacquaio retire boxing is dead. Seems like the sport of humping your opponent to submission is the one dying

You realize Mma is a mix of jui jitsu, wrestling, karate ect. Right? If you go to an Mma school they offer jiu jitsu, muy thai, judo ect. Most Mma fighters have been training since they were young. I am a huge boxing fan but if you put a boxer in an Mma match he will get crushed and vice versa. Mma fighters are highly skilled in their craft

The problem with the UFC is their audience is maturing while boxing's is getting younger. This is mostly due to Top Rank being on ESPN. Everytime they competed directly against the UFC, Top Rank would kill them in the younger demos and get a higher rating despite not always having the larger overall audience. This is because old people are irrelevant when it comes to ratings on commercial television.

Boxing was here before UFC and it will be here after UFC. Boxing was corrupted then and boxing will stay corrupted. Biggest problem in boxing is boxing itself.

                      Good point.

MMA, even has big as it has gotten, still has a lot of room to grow.

It's banned in France, I believe.
But Europe has it's pockets of hardcore MMA fans, and hotbeds of talent.

Holland alone has produced: Bas Rutten, Alistair Overeem, Marloes Coenen, Gegard Mousasi, Semy Schilt, Melvin Manhoef, Gilbert Yvel, Stefen Struve (from 'notable' to Hall of Fame-caliber fighters)

MAY 2017 -- With more than 56,600 tickets sold for the highly-anticipated stadium show, KSW 39 has officially beaten the UFC’s attendance record set in 2015... KSW co-owner Martin Lewandowski made the announcement official via social media.

“KSW is often compared with the UFC,” Lewandowski stated. “Let's talk about the facts. KSW Colosseum sold more tickets than the UFC’s largest event in history in Melbourne. We have nothing to be ashamed of. A small Polish company has overtaken global giant! If Dana White is looking for work, we can always talk.”
