Fact is Joshua/Parker has been talked about for a long time, before both had titles so most objective fans will be more than happy that this fight seems to be happening.

Some are calling it a mismatch, same people who called Takam a mismatch then moaned when Takam wasn't blown away. You can't please the haters.

As for how Parker deals with the huge home crowd, hard to say, it effects some fighters negatively but it motivates others. He's fought in the UK before and I'm sure he'll come over well before the fight date like he did for Hughie, so he will be prepared as he can be.
I dont see crowd as an issue, he fought on Klitchko undercard in germany, and dealt with the unprofessional Fury camp trying to constantly unsettle him.

As an amateur he was sent to overseas tournaments plenty of times by himself to fight in tournaments because he couldnt afford to have support people travel with him.

Why does a fighter's promoter express concern for his opponent's ability to deal with a hostile crowd? What sort of fuckery is this?

I don't see that as promoting very well. He actually sounds like he's worried about Parker not handling AJ's crowd well. Maybe it's the dry English humor comeback to Parker's people saying AJ has a glass jaw.

Keeping the fight being talked about is an obvious promoting technique.

Not promoting very well? I'd argue the fact that it's an article here and that we're discussing it and subsequently the fight right now that it's promoting well.

Also,t's less he's worried and more that he's putting the seed in Parker's head if Parker hadn't really considered it. Comments like that could be considered mind games... either that or it's simple just an off hand comment to garner more exposure for the fight.

Who would you like him to fight in March you deem not a mismatch ?

Because i got to tell you they ALL have about the same chance as Parker .
Obviously yeah but i dont wanna hear any of this bull**** on boxingscene trying to build up this mismatch it should be obscure as ****

Should be obscure? It's a world heavyweight title unification match pitting the guy most people deem to be the number 1 fighter in the division against the 3rd/4th best fighter in the division?

What? You mean like how boxers naturally get tunnel vision and only see their opponent? Or that time when "Jeff Lacey" waltzed into Sheffield and turned your favourite suspect boxer into a bìtch infront of his wife, kids, family and home fans who all booed him out? Shìt even Brooks wife was looking at him in complete disgust the way he submitted and QUIT.

Fùck off Hearn you slimy cùnt.

I'd consider effective promoting to be saying or doing things which generates more interest. Honestly, does Hearn's statement make you want to see the fight anymore than you already did?
