Yeah, that's exactly why it would be extremely easy to fake absolutely everything. Calling those supposed Ali Raymi fights professional boxing is no different than video taping prison boxing, and calling it professional with the only proof being shady entries on boxrec. Fake ass fights like Mickey Rourke fights have been put up on boxrec... It's a joke.

Somebody needs to broker a fight with this guy and Charlie 'Z-Money' Zelonoff.

whatever press i'm seeing regarding this guy is shaky at best.

all of his opponents seem to have fought in only two venues. there were reports of air strikes in his country on the day he was reported to have been killed, but apparently nothing confirmed in the city he was supposedly living in.

the fights look staged, the crowds look staged, he looks like he can hardly fight. somehow he got ranked in the top 10 by two alphabet organizations. it's awfully fishy.

i'll feel bad if he was a real guy and i'm disrespecting him by speculating that he was even a real boxer or if he's dead or not, but that's just how i feel.

i think his record was a fabrication and that he was participating in a sham designed to get a title shot and cash out. his manager, [ who evidntly lives in the states and would be a fascinating phone call ,] is the only person who has indicated that he's even died. no authorities, medical people, nothing.

when i google earth the name of the venue, it pops up on google earth as the location for another boxing venue in yemen, the "federation gym." his manager shows up as an opponent on the resume of a raymi victim, and even though the guy supposedly lives in florida he has four fights in yemen, at the same venue, and nowhere else. that's asinine when you think about it!

super fishy. i doubt even the fights that are recorded

nobody in the thread is being serious. even if this guy was a real fighter his career was a sham. the WBA had him ranked when he was supposedly dead

He actually came on to Boxing scene and created a thread months before he allegedly was killed in a ********* attack.

According to the UFC Frances Ngannou has the hardest punch ever recorded in history.

You know what Raymi's head movement wasn't bad at all, but I doubt that tactic of offense would work at the top level.

I'm curious how diverse he was in actual offensive skills(not ability) it would have taken a decent contender to bring that out of him(if he had it.)

Ever notice how he fought most of his fights at the May 22 Stadium and he was 'killed' on May 23? Hani Ansi, his Yemeni rival, hasn't fought since he died either. All the call outs seemed very strange (hilarious though) as in.. very 'Western-ish' kind of promo cutting. Add in the mysterious background and being a 'Colonel' and a criminal.. hmm.
