Is Tank being set up for the Broner treatment?

I think the correct guidance is paramount in this situation.
The main issue I've seen is that when young dudes who come from nothing/a difficult background suddenly make it to a platform or stage where they can afford the **** that was out of their reach just moments before, they lose their mind and don't know how to act. Blowing money on cars, houses, ****ing b*tches raw who are looking bake some celeb bread in their ovens, etc. There also seems to be this tendency of NOT WANTING TO LEAVE THE HOOD. A dude makes it big, and wants to live large in the hood, as if he wants to rub it the faces of those he was poor with. Not leaving that kind of environment means that the toxic behavior they once exhibited doesn't left behind because of the socialisation factor i.e Broner's case. Why does that idiot still act like he HAS to be in the streets?
Anyway, if Tank can be guided properly OUTSIDE the ring, he'll still be successful, in spite of the residual Mayweather hatred that will inevitably spill all over him like a facial gone wrong. If he can accept that he's still young - both in the game and in life - and that he could stand to benefit from being mentored some, I think he'll be alright.Comment

I don't like or dislike him. I think he's bland and not as colourful as Broner. When he loses FM will disassociate himself from him to avoid the backlash from haters. I don't buy the father figure act. It's always business with Mayweather.Comment

Disciplined? He lost his title on the scales and he was arrested last year for assault. How is this guy more disciplined than Broner?Comment

Question is when will he take same risks as Broner. Or does he stock need to fall first. Because if I was managing AB I would have kept him away from Porter and GarciaComment

i have no issues with waiting for davis to get better. unless lomachenko slows down he's not going to lose to that kid. the kid knows it, floyd mayweather knows it, we all know it. just don't break the annointing oil out for the kid as a fan if you aren't willing to ask him to fight lomachenko until lomachenko is past his prime. floyd waited out fighters' primes and it worked for him. we can expect tank dvis to do the same. great for davis' bank account, but as fans that's really not what we should expect out of boxers. nobody is asking you to get your brains mashed into mush, just don't take a paper title hostage and duck your biggest competition until they're over the hill, the way a lot of haymon fighters do.
what i do have issue with is people ****ting on lomachenko while trying to hype up davis. davis has more pro fights and more rounds than lomachenko. he's bigger. he's just not ready for him because he's not good enough yet. he may never be good enough. his handlers know it. i know it. you probably know it, too. not ready means not able to win.
unlike broner, davis is dumb as a rock and has very little charisma. broner makes dumb decisions but he's not a dumb guy, he actually strikes me as pretty thoughtful and aware for a pro athlete. broner does things with his mouth that turned people off. davis really doesn't. all he's done with his mouth is avoid lomachenko like the plague.Comment
