davis-23....was fighting 18 loss fighters in 2016...didnt look great in his last fight

but of course hes a great opponent for loma so you can all feel like you beat floyd at something...if that fight took place i can guarantee you the next day there would be at least 500 replies spread across various threads making fun of floyd for it.....

We've seen a change in fans. No longer do they want fighters to challenge themselves. They're happy with them fighting mismatches as long as they keep winning and they can claim they're the best. If Lomachenko stayed at 130 the rest of his career never fighting anyone that can give him a challenge, his fans would be happy.

of course theyd be fine with it...theyd say "well they were top 10 at 130..what else you want him to do"? ....the old gggroupie excuse

but any other guy that moves up and does something in a different class that they dont like "he had to move up he was cutting just to make that last weight class"....

this davis/loma fight will most likely be there in two years where its a better fight

They think just stacking up wins is being great like Mayweather. Difference is Mayweather was fighting guys viewed as among the top 10 best in the entire sport. Guys like Davis does **** all for Lomachenko really.

How can you support a 130 pound world champion in Davis who won't fight another 130 pound champion to show he is the real champion at 130. Loma is trying to unify and prove he is the best 130 boxer in the world and the true champion. That isn't cherry picking. That is doing what a real fighting champion is supposed to do. I don't think it's Davis's fault. He is very young and doing what Mayweather advises him to do. Davis is playing it safe by settling for being a one belt owner at 130 instead of trying to win all the belts. Loma wants all the 130 pound belts and that should be praised not criticized.

As a Loma fan I'd rather see him move up to 135 and fight a decent fighter before fighting Garcia. Davis doesn't have what it takes to beat Loma. Also, they can always make this fight later since Davis will not be at 130 much longer.

Davis doesn't have a belt, so unification is clearly not the motivation for Loma.

Davis should have never been allowed to fight for a title since he's so young I guess. Funny thing is if the fight got made you'd probably pick Tank.

It's not an interesting fight to me Tank ain't that good and doesn't have a high ceiling IMO. But Berchelt isn't available, WBO 135 belt is being fought for, Linares isn't available, Mikey isn't available so I say why not just as a keep busy fight?
