Reality is reality whether you label it an excuse or not. The reality is that the WBA, in their effort to get to one world champion per division, has gone after the interim titles first and the super titles last. You are free to criticize this policy. We're not excusing the policy. We're just clarifying what the policy is. Don't confuse the posting of facts as an endorsement or personal support.
All your sentences start or have "but" in them. Quit being ******.
If you don't like the WBA's policies, that's great. We don't like them either.Comment

And all of your sentences have insults in them. Why not knock off the childish "******" and "dum dum" stuff and try to have a civil conversation like an intelligent adult?

They drop fighters who lose at different weights and other they get to keep their belts. Im sorry the WBA is the WORST of the big 4Comment

If the complaint is that the WBA plays favorites, of course they do. Every organization does.
Is the WBA the worst of the big 4? Well, worst in what way? Personally, we consider the WBO the worst because historically they've had the worst champions and challengers. If you consider the WBA the worst, that's fine. They're all horrible in their own way.Comment

WBA rules clearly state if you lose a fight in any weight class, you can lose your title unless the WBA sees fit to make an exception.

"The WBO stance (on drug testing) is to ensure we don't do anything which is duplication of or conflicting with the host commission" "The WBO doesn't have jurisdiction to a drug testing program"
Then WBA
Used to be
IBF
WBC
Now I would say
WBC
IBF (Best)
But ALL are corrupt GREEDY lil Bastards.Comment

About half the divisions still have two WBA Champions. Some even have 3, if you want to throw interim titles in there.
They've been talking about removing Champions for years, but they're taking their sweet time.Comment

UFC didn't have to overcome a century of sanctioning body control in order to convince the public that their titles were the true world titles of MMA.
UFC didn't have to replace a century of tradition of their sport being a worldwide free for all governed by gun for hire independent organizations.
If PBC can land a big FOX deal, perhaps in conjunction with UFC, while maintaining control of SHO as well, and if PBC can convince FOX & SHO to only recognize PBC champions, within a few years, the sanctioning bodies could be severely crippled in the US. But the risk is that you hand dozens of world titles to ESPN & HBO on a silver platter and if the public rejects the new titles, you're beefing up ESPN & HBO's line up. Right now, ESPN is just WBO land, while HBO has to take the scraps of whatever WBO Arum doesn't control and whatever WBC/WBA/IBF Haymon doesn't control.
Don't see Haymon pulling the trigger on PBC titles until HBO pulls out of the sport. Right now, it's to his benefit to continue to slowly accumulate as many WBC/WBA/IBF titles as possible. He knows Arum has a monopoly on the WBO, so it means HBO eventually will have nothing except for the tiny weight classes Haymon & Arum ignore.Last edited by Removed Now; 01-01-2018, 03:53 PM.Comment

It is, but don't waste our time with a pointless discussion. Boxing is boxing nothing will change lol. Let's see what Dana white can do to boxing when he enters maybe he and PBC could shake it up. HBO and showtime boxing could be on the slide.Comment
