Don't get me wrong, i don't knock Joshua and Heran for making it. This fight is an elite operator against a stool pigeon. Takam actually beat Parker easily enough but just wasn't the 'hometown' fighter. A nothing, unproven fighter that is Hugey Furey boxed big pumped up o gear and nothing else Parker's ears off while barely getting hit. IMAGINE WHAT THE REAL FURY WOULD HAVE DONE?! There's more to taking gear than looking good in A mirror. Parker is still stiff as a board. Tyson could dance around him while having a wank to vintage Lusardi.

You could argue the others but then he holds the belt and they don’t (other than Joshua and wilder).

Serous question here. Could you please tell me where you think Parker has looked proper elite, ie easily beating another contender even if only fringe?
I like many saw the Parker vs Takem fight for what it was. The home town money fighter getting the decision. There's no way even his biggest fan boy can tell me he looked great and won the fight with ease. So which fights did he win easily against high level operators?
See this is why i hate meaningless belts. We've got a 'fanbase' trying to overhype a fighter insanely based on nothing he's done in the ring. He has a meaningless belt because of boxing politics and as embarrassing as it sounds Manny Charr winning his belt was done with more style.
And this is the thing, he's a decent young prospect is Parker but so what, cause he was given a 'title shot' for a belt against another unproven fighter we're supposed to go along with the money men and pretend he's elite? Come now gentleman! This is not supposed to be a casual website. well, you'd think not in theory anyway.

Tyson - not an active boxer
Povetkin - agreed
Pulev - arguable, but fair enough
Wilder - agreed
Takam - Parker beat him already
Ortiz - agreed
Bellew - complete joke
Haye - fought 1x in years and lost to that joke bellew
Duhaupas - you were just beyond desperate when you got to this point on the list.
If that's your list, you must think AJ is doing the most shameful thing ever in fighting Parker.

You can criticise him if you like but he has fought decent opposition while he’s been a belt holder, you can’t claim he’s gone for fights he has been odds on winning each time because thats clearly not true. Other champions (not just wilder) have done just that and held on to titles.

Yea I agree with Eddie Hearn. I think Joshua is gonna get him out of there or if Parker is better than I think I think he'll have to be doing some good work on Joshua & would potentially get him out of there too late so yea this fight going 12 is a solid dog.

Having Bellew ranked anywhere the hardcore fan would likely tell you to slit your wrists .
You have Pulev at 4 for wins over Johnson and Peter correct and didnt include undefeated Parker who defeated Takam?Last edited by juggernaut666; 01-03-2018, 04:25 PM.
