Comments Thread For: Saunders: I Knew Lemieux Would Come Up With Excuses for Loss

Billy Joe Saunders wasn't the least bit surprised David Lemieux made excuses for Saunders' easy victory over him. That's what Saunders expected before they stepped into the ring December 16 in Laval, Quebec, Canada. That's also why the unbeaten WBO middleweight champion continued to tell Lemieux before the boxed to avoid making such excuses once their fight concluded.

Saunders would school flat-footed Canelo... if Canelo ducks the GGG rematch - he has to see Saunders and get schooled next...

Yeah, lemieux came up with a lame excuse and saunders in the post fight interview came up with a lame excuse as to why he previously declined a ggg fight & looked like crap vs journeymen by saying he fell out of love with boxing.

These brits are so delusional, it's not even funny anymore! Saunders is acting like he just beat the second coming of Mayweather... That Lemule dude is just a one dimensional fighter who can ****, I'll give him that... C level fighter, at best, but c'mon, we're talking about a guy that lost to Alcine and Rubio for God's sake!
It was a nice performance from Saunders, he boxed well and traveled to his opponent's backyard to get that W but he didn't really try to close the show and let's not forget how limited Lemule is.
Saunders would be easy work for Jacobs

Saunders made it easy night. A good boxer beats a good slugger every day!

It’s called earning respect and credibility in the sport.
But alas, we know that ain’t gonna happen.

my friend you’re wrong, I’m an Englishman and I completely agree with everything you said, except the “Brit” bit. Don’t tar us all with the same brush! Besides, that ***** probably hasn’t had a bath since his momma spewed him out.
