Comments Thread For: Arum: Pacquiao Will Face Top Welter, Crawford-Horn Winner

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum is mapping out a plan of attack for the ring return of eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao in 2018. Pacquiao (59-7-2, 38 KOs), who recently turned 39 years old, was only in action once in 2017. He was last seen back in July, when he traveled to Brisbane and suffered a twelve round decision loss to heavy underdog Jeff Horn before a packed crowd of 51,000 at the Suncorp Stadium.

Bob is a shrewd businessman. He knows Pacquiao is on his way out so why not make Terrence Crawford a superstar at Pacquiao's expense. I hope Pacquiao's handlers won't let him go out this way.

The Same Way Crawford Didn't Fight Mikey in 2016 Or Tried To Make A Fight With Danny At 147. Crawford Needed Those Fights Before He Got To Pacquiao, And To Me If Mikey Wins Next And Crawford Does As Well, I Could See Mikey Going Up To 147 For Crawford Why Not He Was Considering Cotto.

Crawford is gonna stop horn and if pac dares to fight him, he's getting beat down worse than what pac beat delahoya.

Pacquiao won't go near the top welterweights, I agree.

But Amir Khan would actually be a good opponent for him right now. A decent name and he can build up his confidence against him, might even get his first KO win in 9 years.
