Comments Thread For: Espinoza Confident Showtime to Air Joshua Fights for Long Time

Stephen Espinoza expects Showtime and Anthony Joshua to remain business partners "for a long time." Eddie Hearn, Joshua's promoter, has shopped American television rights to Joshua's fights to HBO, Showtime's premium cable rival, but Espinoza is confident Showtime will continue to air the British superstar's bouts. Assuming a deal is finalized soon, Espinoza told BoxingScene.com that he expects Showtime to televise Joshua's next fight, a heavyweight title unification match against Joseph Parker.

Stephen Espinoza has been killing the game. I remember when all the weirdos laughed at his huge signing of Floyd. They started making threads about showtime losing money lol.
In just his short stint with Showtime floyd accounted for the 3 highest PPV of all time. Great gamble and win for Stephen.

Can’t wait to AJ leaves Hearn though. Which will eventually happen. He doesn’t need a promoter. He prides himself on being a strong black man so I doubt he continues to let loud mouth Hearn make money off of him.imo Hearn will take AJ to HBO to avoid the Wilder fight.

Espinoza got access to lots of PBC fighters
yet he's talking about a fighter he has no control of.
Hearn just made a deal with HBO, not to mention ex-SHO fighter Jacobs.
          What does that tell you?

Danny Jacobs still being treated like a nobody. Hearn isn’t going to help. AJ has a contract with showtime if I’m not mistaken. AJ won’t just fight on HBO because Hearn says so lol.

Does Joshua even do decent numbers in the US? There are only 2 or 3 fights I'm even interested in seeing him in. After those fights (if they even take place) what else is there?

You said show example here’s one. Fighters don’t respect him.

                    https://********/4QeCHdJWS9Y

He’s with a English promoter because the Americans don’t want him. He can’t sell in America and definitely can’t sell in England

He ran to HBO because he was scared- Charlo

Jacobs resume isn’t that good he’s getting too much credit for going 12rds with ggg- Arias

He went to HBO to fight Luis Arias smh.
