Taylor has faced better opposition, has better skills and a better amateur pedigree ( correct me if im wrong)
Not to mention Taylor is HUGE for the weight.

    Taylor TKO 10th round

So I think there is virtually no chance it happens in 2018 with a solid chance of it happening in 2019 if both guys keep winning.
Might not happen this year EP my man, but by matching him with Postol to me it's a clear indication of them stepping up his comp to be in position if not make the run.

But, yea interesting aspect of wanting Regis and Josh to both have belts. I don't care as long as these kids teams build them strong with good comp along the way. I'm ready to see how Regis handles Viktor. Last I saw of ol Vik Bud was beatin the dogsheit outta him. Should be a good scrap though.

Right Now? Prograis would knock Taylor Out! I think Prograis will have a Break Out year this year but lets see how he does vs Postol but I really like Prograis Combinations of Power, Skills and Slickness

Oh yea agree. I think its Postol & then a title shot. Isn't Postol some highly ranked guy anyone so this is probably some sorta elimination for something I imagine.

Yea I'll be interested in seeing that fight cuz thats a whole other class of guy...but I feel like Regis might be a cat who's special to so how Regis looks when he does win, the most likely outcome I feel, is gonna be as important if not more important than the win in many ways in regards to seeing how special Regis actually is.

I like this move for Regis & I like the way they've moved Josh too. And I know I've seem some critical of Josh's next fight, but I think getting him in with these highly experienced guys PRE-winning a belt is gonna do him a great service when he does win a belt. He won't need as much on the job training as some guys do when they win a belt earlier in their trajectory.

I completely agree with you EP my man. And the bolded is EXACTLY how it should be done if you ask me.

I was surprised that they moved Regis right on up there with the Postol caliber type opponent, when 1st mentioned I was a little skeptical, as I thought it might be a little bit too soon.

But as I've thought more about how they match up, I think that Regis has enough built up now to quite possibly make a statement. Even if it dosent turn into a statement fight, he'll gain invaluable knowledge being in the ring with ol Vik. How he deals with Vik's length is gonna be interesting.
