This is why I watch Boxing

Probably the most amazing end to a great fight. Makes you think about all the awful early stoppages we have nowadays:

I think the reason we don't see that as often now is, in part, due to the fact that guys these days hold on when hurt. They hold on long enough to get their senses back, and then the punishment keeps coming, and coming, and coming.

I love the beautiful violence that makes up boxing but I don't enjoy seeing someone take unnecessary damage that will ruin their future, affect their family, etc. There's a point at which you can say fight's over.

I don't like John David Jackson. It was nice watching him come unstuck here.

Did you watch recent interviews with JDJ where he spews all kinds of shlt about Kovalev, calling him a quitter, a coward, a jerk and alcoholic?

Yet here he drops to the floor when he sees that he is about to eat more punches...

I got absolutely no problem against americans.

This has nothing to do with race or country.

It’s simply a coach who backstabbed his student and talked a ton of crap behind his back after they went their separate ways, yet here he quit and just dropped to the ground when he saw that he was about to get a beating.

                  A garbage human being...

                    Always loved this fight.

I saw it when it happened in 94.

                    Couldn't believe the turnaround.

                    WAR Castro!
