If Kovalev was so hurt why couldn’t Ward continue punching Kova in the face and drop him?

Why did he need to resort to lowblows?

Anyway he retired. 2 fights against Kovalev ended his career.

Not the best, nor the funniest, but the quality of the opponent getting smoked is impressive.

Don’t know how to post the image, just the link. It’s only 14 seconds long, so it’s worth hitting the link.

You crybabies are entertaining, to a point. Then you get real boring. Everyone knows Ward was the better man and a dozen delusional nobodies aren't going to change that. Get over it.

Yea, I think that was the GOAT in terms of showboating gone wrong.
People will blame Anderson but that was actually part of his style, the psychological factor so I don't think he was "******" for doing that at all. It wasn't the showboating that did him in, it was Weidman having a greater reach than expected and Silva running out of realestate.

Still, all that matters is the optics and what everyone will remember is the P4P #1 guy got KO'd while clowning. That will be hard to top.

Haha most people with half decent eyes saw clear lowblows, and then the great SOG called it quits after robbing Roc Nation...

Ward could have been the better man, but the incompetent ref never gave him the chance to prove it.

I get that you're trying to work people up but nobody will ever consider that a legit win anymore than they consider Golota-Bowe a legit win. Nor the first fight.

I feel like you're the one who ends up discouraged & angry by constantly bringing it up. Ward just wasn't good enough.

It was shocking. I said, “not the best,” only because the effect wasn’t the best I’ve seen. But the guy that went down is tough to top. If Kovalev had KOed Ward when Andre went into a windmill, that would’ve been it. Haha

He was trying to show he was in command of the fight

But the proper way to do that is to stop throwing punches and bellyache to the ref. After you do enough of that you have to sit on the ropes with your arms over your belly as a punch is coming in and hope for the best

                      It's boxing 101
