It's almost like they're waiting for GGG to get older or disinterested so Canelo doesn't have to rematch and lose becuase every single person on this website knows in their heart Canelo lost the first time and will lose miserably the second time around.

    Sign the dang fight already.
We don't know what's being asked by K2, and we don't know what's being offered by Alvarez/Golden.

Canelo obviously had to give the go ahead, but even on pure postering, the terms have to change.

Gennady Golovkin, "middleweight king", was a 2:1 favorite, and ended up in a 50/50 fight; even if, once everything was counted, he got 40%, there was nothing about his performance that would put him in position to get more of the money (with there being a case to be made for him getting less).

Beyond that, a lot of the theoretical is now gone; there's a concrete figure for what the German TV is actually worth, a concrete figure for the Kazakhstan/Russia money is now know, etc.

Alvarez moved when he felt like moving (Floyd schooled him well), Golden Boy's gonna look at the numbers, and K2 is going to get an offer for the rematch, and they'll take it or try to use a concrete number to get things changed.

It's still prizefighting, at the end of the day

They wouldn't announce it until January at the earliest.

Unless you're very dumb about the art of marketing, nobody is going to make an announcement around Christmas/New Year time when that's all 99% of people are concerned with. They would wait for it all to die down and then announce it when they have more peoples attention.

Also, they were never going to announce it 6 months out or something. 3 months out and keep people's attention and keep the momentum going is the ideal way.

If it happens in May, i'd expect a late January or February announcement.

2013 Canelo fought Floyd and the invisible meat on the bone (because you can't read or comprehend English) from the ^ article is they never intended to fight GGG, they got cornered into it. Cotto was the easy money.

Khan was the big warm up fight for GGG and Canelo kinda got his shít pushed in before Canelo could handle his business. Meanwhile, GGG crushed his warm-up's orbital. At least Brook was undefeated and not riddled with holes like Khan was. Canelo was like I'm not ready for GGG and stalled until he ran out of road.
        hahaha ...what is this garbage?

wheres the part where golovkin said he would fight canelo at a CW or 154 in 2015? because i showed you the part where he said he would fight him at 154 in 2013

so when did golovkin call canelos bluff? oh thats right...he didnt

ya know its funny that golovkin broke his "warm up's" orbital bone and canelo struggled with his.....yet golovkin struggled with the lil canyellow didnt he? but of course not...you live in the world where ggg dominated the fight even though he didnt........judging by the way you tell it though surely golovkin should have ended little canelos career huh? oh thats right golovkin is still hoping for a rematch so he can actually try again to prove something to us for once

so show me the part where golovkin called canelos bluff in 2015......oh thats right....you cant

I think this a theory from idiotic GGG fanboys who want to keep playing the boogie man fantasy. GGG is nothing to be scared about, Canelo probably feels more confident then ever after he found out Golovkin could hardly hurt him.

The fight is going to be on May 5th, you know, the BIGGEST DAY IN BOXING. Only date that makes sense for a fight of this magniture. You ****s need to come back to earth and stop pining the coward lable on Canelo. He's the one moving up, not Golovkin. Golovkin is the true b1tch in this situation, don't you ever forget it.

yeah canelo is really shook up about a guy he tagged in the face many times while eating only jabs and he drew with!!! LOL

these clowns have been living in fantasyland for years ...theyve already excused the draw and potential future loss on golovkin being old

ive provided them with a quote from 2013 where ggg said he would fight canelo at 154....yet in 2015 he refused to even try to negotiate a fight at anything less than 160.......what happened to his stance on doing what it takes to get a big fight?

The problem is we gotta wait until freaking May for the rematch. These dudes fighting September then taking 8 months off is terrible. I'm sure GGG would like to fight but he has to sit around and wait because he's the B side. They could wait all the way up until a couple weeks before they would start camp presumably 8 weeks out from the fight which would be in early marchnor late February. Canelo only has one other option and that's Saunders and after the way he moved and boxed Lemueix and Canelos issues with guys who box like that, the GGG fight will be happening 100%

To the casual peasant if GGG isn't stopping his opponents he's struggling. He dominated the fight. Canelo was scrambling for his life. I scored it 8-4. 8-4 is pretty darn close to a blow out. Canelo; the Mexican, was literally running all night.

Let the record be noted I am NOT a GGG fan. I've been hating on him since the Jacobs fight which I also thought he lost 8-4.

Check my posts, I was rooting for Canelo to win in the build up.

Y'all are too easy man. Cookie cutter and predictable. Sad robot.

He knows that GGG is gonna walk through his cash cow this time. GGG took it easy the first time and still won 8 or 9 rds. The aftertaste of that ripoff will have GGG in destroyer mode from jump street.
