There were a bunch of close rounds in the fight and those tend to split opinion the most. Not saying this is you, but in the majority of these scenarios the general consensus tends to side with commentary, which is a trend I've seen for years. That's why I don't get too offended when I might be in the minority or dismiss the opinion of people when they are in the minority. Obviously there are fights we all get more emotionally involved than others.

Just because one guy didnt look his destructive best doesn't mean the other guy won. I scored the fight a draw, my friend next to me a win for ggg, we discussed the fight back and forth and i was accepting ggg did enough to win but the general consensus between us both was canelo did not do anything to consider he banked 7 rounds. I challenge anybody to show me which seven rounds he took.

I think the night Canelo GG fought it was Jones and a guy called Steedman, I usually keep a tally of rounds, important fights on a scrap of paper indicating a close round with an exclamation/question mark its easier to go back and review a round in question plus I can see the swing rounds for myself too I actually prefer watching the boxing on my own too so I'm not swayed by a friend for instance that night I scored a draw he had a win for GGG upon reflection back then I just recall no grounds whatsoever for a Canelo win.
I'll go back and watch it, I may do this in a few hours when I have some free time.
