You're missing the part where Kovalev is the only known name. You are right though, Bivol-Barrera is the way better fight.

It appears Kathy Duva is trying to preserve Kovalev against no hopers. While having the young beasts knock eachother off. Bivol and Barrera would have been much better opponents than Kovalev's last and next ones.

I agree. Kovalev should unify with Beterbiev next.

I am glad Bivol is fighting Barrera because I think Bivol is the best fighter in a strong weight class. A fight with Barrera will let him be compared with Ward fighting the same boxer.
