I think 2018 will be one of, if not the year that will have the fewest PPV cards in more than a decade.
Which is very good, because then more fights will be on "free" TV.
Im talking about the US market, since the UK market is gonna have quite some, if not to much boxing on PPV.
Only fights I think could be on PPV in the US would be Canelo vs. Golovkin II and then Canelo's fight in September.
If Joshua vs. Wilder happens in the US, then that would be on PPV aswell.
Other than that I dont think HBO or Showtime would do any other fights on PPV in 2018.
Which I think is a good thing. If a fight would have to go on PPV, in my opinion it should atleast sell 500K buys.
