Comments Thread For: Trainer: Povetkin Not The Same Fighter Since PED Suspension

According to veteran trainer Fiodor Lapin, Olympic gold medal winner Alexander Povetkin has lost some of his accuracy and punching power and is not in the same physical former that he was - prior to the suspension related to drug test failures. Am I reading this right? Are my eyes deceiving me? Povetkin's trainer just came out saying that his fighter is not as dangerous post PED usage!

Any fighter facing an Eastern Euro opponent would be smart to demand VADA testing.

Just to make sure there's a level playing field.
