Everyone who knows anything about boxing disagrees with you.

FACT: a fighter who has never weighed more than 155, and who has never faced a middleweight opponent, simply cannot be referred to as a middleweight

FACT: refusing to fight opponent-A at 155, but then offering to fight opponent-B at 154..... is a flat out duck of opponent-A

I know that you both are too ignorant to read, but here goes.
MW weight is different for amateurs.

The WBC has already addressed this matter. Every contest, every fight, is considered to be in one of the weight classes. You can't just dismiss a weight, calling it catchweight.

A catchweight by definition is not middleweight. If the catchweight is 155 then the limit becomes 155 NOT 160. So you're missing 5lb.

There is no way around this. You and others should admit they are wrong so this thread can be locked.

it depends on other aspects, title involved, limit set, etc...
for all we know even a hw title could be involved, or it could be just two fat welterweights going at each other...
thats why you cant be too simpleton when it comes to CW fights, there are special circumstances involved unlike a fight between two mw fighters fighting at their normal weight limit..

                kid, those were catchweight fights

FACT: you cannot fight for a JMW title above 154

                catchweight fights are allowed

                know why ?

because Chickenkin was more than happy to defend against Rosado at catchweight

sorry if that makes you cry

That's not a fact, that's an opinion, idiot.

If you weigh 155 you are too heavy for JMW. That's the rule of the game.
If there was a JMW fight, and you weighed in at 155, you would be too heavy. Because 155 is more than JMW.

So when Ward wanted to fight Mayweather at 160 he ducked GGG? CoWard.
