Right. It says that he fought in the SMW division for those fights just like Marvin Hagler fought above the MW limit in fights before he won the championship. Nobody in their right mind would have called him a LHW.

Golovkin in 2013 said 154-168 was easy to hit. Be it if he wanted to make 168 seriously then the 160 campaign wouldn't be existent. If Golovkin hit 173 per HBO "unofficial scale" then it's safe to say that if Gennady wanted to prep for 168 he would easily, same way Nelo had to gain muscle mass...or simply the reason why many who fought below 160 have gone up to 175+ like a Hearns Toney etc...

Also, Gennady be looking sick as of late tying to hit 160 and per frame, he's a big guy compard to Nelo. We all know know Jacobs belongs at 168, and ive said many times before, Jacobs got a strong ass immune system to have blasted cells in chemo yet still drain at 160...

It does get old...now Drade, Nelo, Charlo, Lara, Murata, are a new gen 160 guys. I have strong feeling that since Jacobs has time on HBO, which is great, he could decide to make a fight at 168, especially with Hearn backing him.

And finally, as I mentioned boxrec, look at Lemeiux's previous bouts at weighins to see how he has hit above 160, including Stevens and Lara, Kirkland, Angulo....but you like to focus on Nelo when his top weights arent even averaged close to the list I gave you. Just be honest..be a man.

Called who a LHW? Lets be honest and consistent that most fighters gain weight and topple at the end of their careers, hence go northbound.

Hagler was a seasoned Middleweight. RJJ and Toney are the same height as Golovkin.. Golovkin is significantly bigger than Hagler as Toney and RJJ were, so at least let's be honest that if Lil'G were in the 160 era of Hagler he'd be a huge ass dude, and with a time of same day weighins, means Lil'G wouldnt have been fighting in that era. Golovkin gains 13lbs+ every fight. It was dumb for HBO to had released his fight night weight agaisnt Rubio. The older you get the harder it is to cut and be optimized. This is why Lil'G was all sweating and gaint in the Nelo pressers. He looked healthy in the months before when he was plumpy. Not even Jacobs lets himself go like that.

Wanted Froch and Chavez Jr. At 168 doe...

No offense, but what is the point you are trying to make here?

I Asked a pretty simple, straight forward question, and I get a long winded response that doesn't even begin to touch on the question. Let's try again. What does a fighter have to do to be considered part of a division?

Please don't give me ggg said this, GGG said that. I'd like some general parameters that I can apply to any boxer moving up in weight, like say, Crawford moving up to 147.

You don't even know what you're complaining about! you said Golovkin was a SMW in 2008, Im telling you he wasn't, but he did fight a 1lb and half over the 160 limit in that year, as was aboutfkntime point about seasoned fighters in a class. This is why I asked you before, what was Pac's paradoxical weight, where did he belong as he flew awkward weights from 130 up to Margo... from 2008-2010?

Yes, so let's try this again...once again. You're telling me GGG wasn't a smw, even though he fought at smw. My question is, if he was not a smw then, what criteria would he have had to met, or have to meet, to be considered a smw?

What criteria does Terrence Crawford have to meet in order to be considered a WW?

                Please define "seasoned fighter "

you're lucky that I did not ask you the questions below, or you would be having an aneurysm..... like Gloveking

so, you clowns want to run around asking me the dumbest questions ever..... but when it comes time to answer my questions, you take your toys and go home ?

those questions are reasonable, and your refusal to answer them..... was not reasonable

what happened to..... can someone please explain to aboutfkntime?

There you go again. You only quote part of the response in order to further your point of view. Most guys that are interested in debate not arguement, leave the original quote intact. That's just one of the reasons no one takes you seriously. Your just a casual fan witht internet access that has a hard on for Canelo.

Dude isn't even a Canelo fan. He's a bitter Ward fan that hates GGG and will argue anything against GGG, even if it contradicts his personal opinion. I mean, you'll notice one or two of his posts on this thread where he is very critical of CWs, even saying he hopes he never sees another, yet argues the point that GGG should have offered Canelo a CW...

How is a Ward fan "bitter?" Ward labeled Golovkin "Lil'G" and the Kazakh said nothing about that, but calls other fighters "clowns."

The only "critical" discussion would be a Pacquiao thread justifying his catchweight TITLE reign carefully orchestrated by Top Rank.

154-168 ez fomi...but Ward fans are bitter. ..
