Weigh-in weight is fans weight, its a point in time where they weigh the closest because they are forced to, for the fans and media, to set some order.

To the fighter and trainer the better they can manipulate the drying out process the more advantage they have on fight night.

You have a fans perspective of weight, this view is why there are so many weight shenanigans going on hyping fighters that the fan has no clue about.
I agree the in ring weight us very important when evaluating fighters. I hope your not saying weigh ins are for the fans only. There was a major shift and evaluation of the weight in criteria after the Mancini, Kim Duk Koo fight.

Weigh-in is very import only in how the fighter made weight, if he fked it up it really hurts him other than that its relevance stops there, it then moves on to the real weight they will fight at.

Both are intertwined and becoming more of a science today than ever before, the point Im making is that the weight they trade punches at and how they arrived there is what matters.

People shouldn't be harping on a division weighin weight, like its the holy grail, its ridicules when knowing the fighters go at it a clear division or 2 above that weight.

here, let me give you an example.....

somebody who ran their mouth on a boxing website, but then inadvertently admitted that he does not know basic elementary facts.....

        1) why were you unaware that Canelo weighed 150 at welter?

        2) why were you unaware that Canelo won the WBO jmw title AT 154 by beating Liam Smith about a year ago?

        3) why were you unaware that Reynoso has explained exactly why they are weight-diva's on MULTIPLE occasions?

        4) the most important question..... if you were unaware of those RELEVANT/VITAL facts, then why are you here running your ****-warmer??????
..... could reasonably be told to shut his ****-warmer

you have learned a HUGE pile of things on this thread, huh?

There is a safety issue too. I watched the Mancini fight live on network television. I was stunned when I found out Kim died,

You must also think ward should have taken the ggg fight at a cw. I bet if ggg had won a title at 168 and said he'd fight ward at 161, you'd make the same ****** argument in ggg's favour too.

            stop embarrassing yourself kid

            1)

FACT: Pvssykin offered Brook a cw
FACT: Pvssykin offered Rosado a cw
FACT: Pvssykin demanded a cw from Andre Ward

            2)

FACT: Pvssykin REFUSED a catchweight for Cotto
FACT: Pvssykin REFUSED a catchweight for Canelo

so, let the record show..... Pvssykin had no problem with catchweights, IF the catchweight benefited him..... he was more than willing to give the no-hopers a catchweight, but he was chicken-**** scurred of Cotto and Canelo LOL

            3)

FACT: AFTER refusing to negotiate on weight with the SUPERSTARS Cotto and Canelo..... Pvssykin stated that he is willing and able to fight at 154, but nobody will step up LOOOOOL

you can't make that shht up

first, you tried to say that 154.1 was middleweight..... now, you are saying that catchweights are bad loooool

what will your next excuse be ?

stop embarrassing yourself kid, and answer the questions that you have ducked on multiple occasions.....

            * why did Golovkin totally refused to negotiate on weight with the SUPERSTARS Cotto and Canelo...... despite happily offering a catchweight to no-hopers like Rosado/Brook?

            * why did Golovkin state that he is ready and willing to fight a JMW at 154, if only someone would step up..... AFTER refusing to negotiate on weight with Cotto Canelo?

and yet, you gave Pvssykin a free-pass for demanding a catchweight he knew that Ward could not make..... you know that killed the fight, which makes you a fanboy b1tch

what a fighter weighs at the official weigh-in is MUCH more important

trust you to wank on about rehydration weight

casual fans are totally clueless about styles/levels/weight

                    * happy to give Rosado a catchweight

                    * happy to give Brook a catchweight

                    * happy to fight everyone else at 154.....

everyone EXCEPT for Cotto and Canelo lol

Leave it to you to have no clue about what I am saying. What I said is yeah fighting weight is important in evaluating fighters but safety is the most important. KIM DIED after that fight. Died as in no longer with us. Your so eager to make your points you can't grasp the significance of what happened.
