I feel that crawdaddy would be for too much for Spence at this point.

Brook saw some success with the jab- I think crawford beats spence rather easily.

Yea people forget spence was losing that fight against Kell Brook, Crawford may be able to outbox him until round 12.
Eroll spence is above the comp right now, but not by heaps and bounds.

      Probably not

Spence is the naturally bigger fighter fought against bigger men , he has all the skills for it to be a competitive fight

Crawford fans are becoming delusional. His 140 run is over hyped, and yeah he's looked great but his competition level has been garbage to put it nicely

At least Brook beat Porter to get his strap, probably the Natural WW of all the new guys with the best resume.

Spence has beat Algiers and Brook and if he beats Lamont. He will have beaten almost as many former / current World champs as Crawfords entire resume at 140

It's not his record really for me it's his accolades and this talk that he's going to move up to 147 and run through people that make me think people aren't even looking at who he beat or who his competition beat

His reign at 140 consisted of Dulhorme, Jean,Lundy , Postol , Molina , Diaz , Indongo

That's 7 fighters between all 7 fighters they have a total of I think 4 wins over former /current / future world champs between 2 fighters Molina & Indongo

Indongo beat Burns & Trovosky. Burns hasn't beaten a legit name in years and Trovosky has beaten no one of substance let alone any former/ current World Champs

Molina beat Ruslan who was already on his way out the sport and Bey a fight he was losing every minute of the fight until the last round when Bey got ****y

Crawford got his title through a vacancy, Postol got his through a vacancy

Indongo beat Burns who got his through a vacancy against a guy who's currently rated 89th on Boxrec and I think Trovisky got either elevated to champ or through a vacancy. I don't think any of the opposition in title fights with the exception of Lucas beating Lamont had ever beaten any World Champs

That's pathetic. And with a bunch of fighters with dog sh.it resume like that I don't think you can come to the conclusion that he runs through 147

Crawfords run at 140 is seriously all smoke and mirrors

Lol, you dudes really need to go rewatch that fight, and not on sky.

First of all, that fight was 3-3, or 4-2 either way, after 6 rounds...before spence completely took over.

As far as jabs go, Spence probably landed 3-4x as many jabs as brook did, and his jab was probably the shot that broke brook's eye socket.

To answer the question, NOBODY makes easy work of Spence. I like Crawford and think he's the goods, and imo this is a more difficult fight than Thurman, for either guy... but anybody that thinks crawford or spence will be "easy work" for the other guy, dksab.

Crawford will now need to emphasize on skill rather than heavy hands he imposed in initial weights. Thurman, Spence, Garcia, those guys have huge upper frames and can take the damage from Crawford. Indongo was a toothpick and seasoned at that weight. Lundy is a 135 fighter. Postol and Gamboa are his best wins. Such firepower compared to those mentioned isn't remotely close to the guys currently seasoned at 147. Top Rank better get ready for the pain

It wouldn't be an easy fight for either imo.

Even though Thurman has been forgotten in current fantasy fights, I think he also gives them both a hard fight and possibly even an L.

Spence isn't a remarkable fighter p4p in and of itself. He's good for the sport and I love him and his attitude, but he isn't extremely talented. There's a reason he couldn't medal in the olympics, he's too easy to hit, too flat footed and not to good on defense.

I think an acclimated Crawford Boxes circles around him.
