They had Morales 6 after losing to both Raheem and Pacquiao back to back.
They viewed it as Judah having an off night. Because he was clearly winning at the halfway point.Last edited by Robbie Barrett; 12-26-2017, 05:10 PM.Comment

I just looked at the lists around that time. Judah was not on the list entering the Floyd bout. He was not even ranked at the end of 2006. Morales did maintain his ranking after Rahaeem but not after Pacquaio II. Makes a bit more sense as Morales was a great fighter and lost a non-title lightweight bout whereas Judah was not a great fighter and lost a title bout at his weight to an average opponent.Comment

You must be looking at the wrong lists.I just looked at the lists around that time. Judah was not on the list entering the Floyd bout. He was not even ranked at the end of 2006. Notice that the rankings list him as the Welterweight champion still. The April issue doesn't mean the April rankings. The Ring used to be 3-4 months behind always. You must be looking at the wrong lists.

Go to the issue two months ahead (June 2006) that's when they report the Judah-Baldomir fight.Comment

Mosley was #3 and Hatton was #8 I believe..And Canelo and Guerrero were officlally top 10 p4p according to the Ring..He is just going off of the listMost of those boxers were not top 10 pfp at the time Mayweather fought them. Hatton and Mosley weren't top 10 at the time he fought them. The 23 year old Canelo wasn't even close top to 10 yet. Cotto was not top 10 pfp when Mayweather fought him and Guerrero was never remotely close to top 10pfp or even top 20 pfp at any time. Some of them may have been top 10 pfp before or after Mayweather fought them but not at the time he fought them. Mayweather probably did fight the most top 10 pfp guys but you are giving him credit for boxers who were never top 10 pfp or were not top 10 when they fought him. If a boxer was top 10 pfp years before or after Mayweather fought them but not when he fought them should it really count at all?Comment
