AJ just needs to avoid the windmills and hit Wilder straight down the pipe.

This would be an AWESOME fight, can't wait!
But it SHOULD take place in the UK, not in America. So tired of seeing the American boxers getting all the advantages!
Joshua is the one with the bunch of belts. He is the champion. He is also the only one of the two, who has a real big win in his belt, having defeated Klitschko.
If it is in America, it would suck so much. If Deontay thinks he is so good, so invincible, so strong, so "macho" then, go to the UK, don't even think it twice!
This needs to be quoted!Comment

Joshua is the champ. Wilder and Parker are contenders.Tell your master Edward "Fast Eddie" Hearn stop being a Scrooge and pay the champ like a champ and lets see if your theory is right!
Y'all are giving Parker, the weakest champ in the division who has looked garbage in his last several fights with the last one being shown on YouTube over 30%!
Wilder has single handily promoted the Joshua vs Wilder fight, is on a big momentum boost, next fight will be against one of the most dangerous opponents in the division, has fought at the MGM, and has routinely entertained one of the most notoriously hard to please crowds in the country at Barclays!Comment

I absolutely 100% believe that when they fight, AJ will box Wilder.
Wilder is wild but a straight punch will get there before a hook most times. Wilder has a fast and decently powerful jab, but it can be timed because it's the same jab all the way through and he is still there.
The problem for AJ is that if he gets tired and stands there, he will get KTFO.
Other than that, I honestly feel AJ's heavy hands will put Wilder into big trouble over the rounds since he is there to be hit and outboxed.
Fundamentals of AJ will prevail. Wilder has had 40 fights but fights like he has had 13. AJ has had 20 fights and is about the position where he should be, which is to improve and get better and better.Comment

Joshua could say & think what he wants, but until he is willing to step up & prove he's a real champion willin to take on the best (in this case Wilder) whatever he says & thinks he could do is worthless..The fight everyone wants to see next at heavyweight is Joshua & Wilder & the thing is Wilder wants it & he even said he'll fight in England, but Joshua doesn't seem interested & is talking about fights no one cares about..Joshua so far is a cardboard champion while Wilder is proven to be real..Comment

Let’s just hope the Joshua Parker march up is made and Wilder Ortiz too.
Both a reasonable match up’s, and both expected to win.
I think it will be a test for Joshua to maintain his ko record, Parker did turn down the fight a year or so ago in favour of going for his current belt so either way financially he’s made the right call!
for Ortiz (stiverne 1 a-side possibly?) it’s the first time he’s faced anyone who you
could actually consider a half threat. Having watched Ortiz last few fights I suspect wilder will walk through him quite fast though.
I’m not on same page as most here but I would actually like a further build up fight in the summer, I think it needs both have to have competitive opposition. Joshua vs Miller or Povetkin, Wilder vs Whyte or Pulev would be my picks.Comment

You are literally responding to a thread about Joshua talking about Wilder, whilst saying that Joshua isn't interested and is talking about fights no one cares about. Do you not think that's somewhat ironic?Joshua could say & think what he wants, but until he is willing to step up & prove he's a real champion willin to take on the best (in this case Wilder) whatever he says & thinks he could do is worthless..The fight everyone wants to see next at heavyweight is Joshua & Wilder & the thing is Wilder wants it & he even said he'll fight in England, but Joshua doesn't seem interested & is talking about fights no one cares about..Joshua so far is a cardboard champion while Wilder is proven to be real..
Beyond that, it's like Boxingscene has turned the world on it's head since Wilder knocked out Stiverne:
A cardboard champion unified against Wladimir Klitschko in his 19th professional fight.
A proven champion won the WBC heavyweight championship and then proceeded to defend it against the likes of Molina, Szpilka, Arreola, Washington and a clinically obese Stiverne. Granted the fact Wilder isn't really proven isn't entirely his fault considering he should have fought Povetkin and Ortiz by now.Last edited by Deus; 12-26-2017, 03:45 AM.Comment

Neither guys are 'boxers' they are both just very big, athletic, powerful men who were taught how to box.
Boxing is clearly not natural to either, especially Wilder.Comment

I might not know but I do not a whole lot more than you. I will not be drinking the AJ koolaid no matter the amount of hype. I rate 2 fighters at minimum above him at their best - Wilder and Fury, maybe even Ortiz. I don't see him as this unbeatable fighter or a huge technically diparity between him and Wilder. AJ looks the part but Wilder is the part. That's what matters. AJ is just too mechanical to avoid getting tagged by Wilder and will get embarrassed when they do fight.Last edited by asotgod123; 12-26-2017, 06:03 AM.Comment

Completely missed my point.
If you think AJ vs Takam was ‘a struggle’, then Wilder vs Stiverne 1 was life and death.Comment
