This is the revisionist stuff I'm talking about. Floyd is not perfect.

He underestimated and made a mistake.

    He wasn't out of range.

He was in range just like when Maidana tagged him.

Great performance by McG. 1st boxing match ever and he had a draw going into the 7th against the self-proclaimed TBE

    LOL.

Happy Floyd is retired because he's too old now. Doesn't have it anymore.

Great fighter and I'm happy he beat PEDquiao, but his run is up

As long as all proceeds go to a worthy charity then I think they should do it.

Kobe should totally embarrass him and leave him on doughnut.

Typical late career Mayweather, won't challenge someone in his prime.

I agree with parts of your post, but McGregors hips were squared, perpendicular to floyd. You can't generate power that way, without turning your entire body.

And you can't even remotely compare maidina to McGregor. McGregors boxing skills are about a C- IMO.

Even the punch that he hit floyd with there, looked like complete shyt. Looking at it again, McGregors punch led with what would be his damn finger nails, (if he wasn't wearing gloves), and not the top of the knuckles. Have no doubt, floyd carried McGregor.

Another indication of that, is the 40 year old got better, and got the KO at the END of the fight?? Against the 27 year old??

Floyd and the acronym TBE should never be in the same sentence together.

And yes, I also agree that his time has passed, but I'm sure he'll be up for fleacing the public again, in another scam fight, if the opportunity presents itself.

Folks are sitting here, getting all worked up over short money

If Kobe Bryant really does go ahead and decide to play Floyd Mayweather in a game of 21, with both guys having open love for each other, Showtime/CBS is going to take that and package it into a one-hour special for Showtime or CBS, which could easily be worth $3m-$5m once distributed.

Quick look back at Kobe's career, profile of what life after basketball is for Kobe, a look at the relationship between Kobe and Floyd (no one thinks that they're best friends, but there's enough footage to know that they're cordial), and then the game (which they don't have to show as a live game anyway).

45 minutes (with the commercials added) of content and you've got a one-hour show.
